How to Collect

Collecting art is not about speed.
It is about discernment, timing, and care.

At Infinite Treasures, works are acquired through exhibitions and private sales — guided by intention rather than impulse.

For New and Seasoned Collectors

You do not need to be an expert to begin collecting.
Nor do you need to collect often.

Some collectors are encountering African contemporary art for the first time.
Others are refining an already focused collection.

Both are welcomed here.

Our Approach

We believe that art gains value through context, stewardship, and time.

Rather than presenting everything at once, works are revealed through themed exhibitions.
This allows collectors to engage with ideas before encountering individual pieces.

Collection, in this sense, becomes a relationship — not a transaction.

How Acquisition Works

Works are made available following exhibition viewings.

Acquisition typically takes place through private sale, guided by availability and alignment with the collector’s interests.

Pricing, editions, and logistics are shared directly with registered collectors.

We do not operate on a first-come basis.

On Pricing and Visibility

Prices are not displayed publicly because context matters.

Each work carries its own considerations — material, scale, edition, provenance, and placement within a broader body of work.

These conversations are best held directly and thoughtfully.

Access and Registration

Access to exhibitions and acquisition opportunities is available through registration.

This allows us to share viewing schedules, availability, and relevant details with care.
